Most of y'all know about the tornado that past by us recently. It was probably about 15 miles away from were we live. I only got one picture of the sky because we had to get into a neighbor's tornado shelter....I believe this was taken around 6pm.
About a week ago, Brittney was chopping onions for supper and she chopped off a chunk of her finger. Mom was taking a nap, so Britney and I tried to think what to do. First she took some Advil. Blood was dripping everywhere, so we decided to put gauze around her finger with water proof tape around it..well, come to find out, that was not a good idea. After she was done cooking,we tried to change the gauze but it wouldn't come off.(By this time Mom was up) We told Mom what had happened and we thought about how to get it off.....we soaked her finger in water and cut off the extra gauze so it wasn't pulling on the sore..I went off and search online to see if anybody had any tips. This one person said that if you don't get the gauze off before 36-48 hours then skin will start growing over it. Not good....so Britney soaked it more and slowly pulled it off.....It stung, it throbbed and it bled, but a least it was off. We put a bandage on it, and now it's starting to heal....
Well, enough of that, some of y'all maybe grossed out by now :-)
We had some good friends of ours over Wednesday night.
